Southern weddings are a thing of beauty in my opinion, and this Louisiana wedding was no exception. I’m a wannabe southerner! As a Texan, I don’t quite qualify, but a girl can pretend! Steel Magnolias left everyone wanting to be a girl from the south, right? Okay, enough of me wishing I had a Ouiser or Truvy in my life, back to the wedding. Brooke Casey of Brooke Casey Weddings planned this gorgeous New Orleans wedding and did such a marvelous job! Every detail was beautiful! The lace on the back of that dress? Yes, please. The eucalyptus leaves adorning the lanterns? Die. The church, the cake, the moss hanging from the oak trees. I really could go on and on. The couple looked so happy and beautiful!
I provided calligraphy for the wedding invitation envelopes, which featured a classic script style in a taupe color. In addition to the envelopes, I worked on day-of details like drink menu signs, a custom monogram crest, and a large gold and cream welcome sign for the wedding. Crests are one of my favorite things to work on. I love when I get to see photographs from the actual event and these are no exception! Just stunning!
