PRINTING METHODS

Digital Printing

Professional, high quality laser printing that offers a more affordable printing option. This process is ideal for invitations that have any watercolor detail. Our digital printing is offered on 110lb cardstock in either pearl white or bright white. Please note, when digital printing is selected for the invitation pieces, it will also be used for the return address printing on the envelopes.

Letterpress

This relief type of printing is among the oldest in the world. Rich texture and deep, vivid impressions are characteristics associated with letterpress. Letterpress printing involves creating individual dies for each design and is a labor of love which makes it one of the more expensive printing options. Our letterpress pieces are printed on either 220lb cotton paper, or handmade paper. Please note, when letterpress is selected for the invitation pieces, it will also be used for the return address printing on the envelopes.

Foil Stamping

Similar to letterpress in that foil stamping is a relief printing process. The main difference is foil printing uses foil, instead of ink, to achieve the color depressions on the paper. This printing method is great for metallic colors. Because it is considered such a specialty form of printing, it is the priciest option we offer. Our foil pieces are printed on either 220lb cotton paper, or handmade paper.  Please note, when foil stamping is selected for the invitation pieces, it will also be used for the return address printing on the envelopes.
